If you're looking for a little adventure set within picturesque scenery, then Davy Lake Campground is the place for you. Located in the heart of Ignace, Ontario come see what we have to offer. Come in and set yourself up in one of our 65 sites or one of our cabin/trailer rentals and get ready to plan out your holidays. Take a walk through our 70 acres of wooded forest or challenge yourself on many of the close by trails. Take a short drive over to Sandbar Park and explore the bear caves or find the Indian pictographs. If you like these you can try canoeing or boating on Mameigwesis Lake to find more of these ancient pictures. Like to canoe? Bring your own or rent one of ours to go on an adventure to White Otter Castle. This beautiful 3 story home has been completely refurbished and is open to the public for viewing. We also have several canoeing routes with over 700 lakes to explore in the area. Ask for details on routes and trips.If canoeing isn't your idea of vacationing then imagine flying over the hundreds of great fishing lakes in our area to this amazing castle in the woods. And after all this excitment you can take your family for a relaxing picnic at either Barrel Falls or Raleigh Falls. These breathtaking waterfalls are conveniently located within driving distance from the park. We also boast an excellent 9 hole golf course to unwind at and a driving range practically at our back door. And don't forget the excellent blueberry picking in season. If you want just a handful to munch on or if you want to share with many others, Davy Lake Campground can accomodate you. The park grounds also has a fabulous off road area so bring your bikes if you got 'em. The Town of Ignace is a full service stop with 10 eating establishments, 2 banks,2 grocery stores,1 meat deli,hardware store,a flower shop,5 gas stations,a gym, LCBO,clothing store,convenience store, 2 bait and tackle shops, a Legion,3 automotive and repair shops and a tavern.
